A wrinkle! ACK!
Because of a day's delay from U-Haul, my drive was pushed back by a day. Initially that just meant doing all the hard work (unloading and returning the uhaul, renting a car, etc.) on Saturday instead of Friday. However, we have learned that there are no rental car places actually open on Saturday evening near the storage place. So I have to be ready to rent the car on Saturday morning...
ACCELERATE!
Instead of taking 3 days to get there, I'm pushing it and doing the rest in 2 days. It's only 11 hours each leg, so not terrible. I'm pretty comfortable in the truck now, and as long as I take a few breaks along the way it'll be fine.
Beyond that, today's drive was good! Everything went super well today. Traffic was very light being Christmas, and I got to drive in a snowstorm for the first time in years. When the air is cold enough, the flakes just deflect off the window without leaving a mark. Pretty cool huh (aaayyyy)
